Alexis Edwards

Biography:

Alexis received her BS in chemistry from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (Belton, TX) in 2018 and is expected to graduate with a Ph.D. in 2023. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies with her husband, cross stitching, and playing video games.

Current Area:

Alexis's research can broken into two distinct projects: (1) using ion mobility (IM) paired with native mass spectrometry (MS)  to investigate structural differences of proteins and protein complexes in positive- and negative-ion mode and (2) using native IM-MS to investigate how proteins bind to single-stranded DNA.
