WISE up with Jess Conforti

This past Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, the Gallagher Group’s very own Jess Conforti spoke as part of the WISE seminar series. WISE is Baylor’s dedicated group for recognizing, encouraging, and mentoring Women In Science and Engineering. Jess joined the Gallagher Lab in 2020 and works on proteomics based projects. In her time here at Baylor, she has been heavily involved around campus including mentoring undergraduates in scientific research, serving on panels to help new and prospective graduate students navigate the process of starting a terminal degree, and teaching instumentation workshops to students who come from schools without the large research facilities Baylor has. We are proud of the work she has done both in and outside of the lab here in Waco.
