Three Exams, Three Passes!

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind for the Gallagher group. Our three second-year graduate students have all taken and passed their Precandidacy Exam! We are proud of Madeline Bannon, Lyssa Garber, and Irushika Senarathne for this accomplishment. This exam involves writing a research proposal as well as presenting and defending the proposal in an oral exam… and usually, a nap once you finish!
